Meet the Team!
Kirk Teets
Kirk Teets began his career in 1995, transitioning from a certified machinist into construction, where he built additions, garages, and decks. It was there he found his path in painting—growing from subcontract work into residential repaint, new construction, apartments, and high-end homes.
He later joined the painters union, advancing to foreman and superintendent on large commercial projects, and went on to work in commercial sales for a national franchise—gaining a complete understanding of both field operations and business management.
Kirk brings decades of experience along with certifications in OSHA safety, lift operation, respiratory fit testing (trainer), blueprint reading, and advanced coating applications.
Nick Benham
Nick Benham got his start in the painting industry as a teenager, working summers and weekends alongside his father. By the time he was in high school, he was already earning strong income while gaining hands-on experience working on high-end homes—projects that built both his skillset and a lasting sense of pride in the work.
He chose to continue in the trade, focusing primarily on high-end residential painting, where he became proficient in a wide range of coatings, products, and application methods.
Nick later joined Kirk at a national franchise painting company, where he stepped into a superintendent role. There, he expanded his expertise in managing projects, leading crews, and maintaining high standards across multiple job sites.
He brings extensive training and certifications, including OSHA safety, respirator fit certification, blueprint reading, lift operation, and ladder safety. Today, Nick plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality results through strong field leadership and project management.
Jason Allen
Jason Allen began his career in 1990 at the age of 16, working in hotel renovations where he gained experience in drywall and painting. Early on, he developed a strong foundation in surface preparation and finishing, setting the stage for a long career in coatings.
He later expanded into the automotive industry, painting cars, boats, and RVs—building a high level of precision and attention to detail across a variety of specialized finishes.
Jason went on to work in high-rise painting, where he operated swing stage equipment and worked within strict OSHA safety programs, gaining valuable experience in large-scale and technical environments.
He later joined Kirk and Nick at a national franchise painting company, taking on a foreman role overseeing high-end residential and commercial painting projects. Today, Jason brings decades of hands-on experience and a strong focus on quality, safety, and execution to the EZ Pro Painters team.
